The Fast Demon: 2015 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrfoglio Verde
Like its previous models, the 2015 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrfoglio Verde easily stands out on the road with its eye catching features like carbon spoilers along with mirror fairings, side skirts and its 18-inch allow wheels with classic five ringed design behind which hide the brembo brakes.
Going inside the Giulietta, the car has never been that impressive and it still has not made a mark, however, some changes in the interior have given it a bit of life. The addition of a 6.5-inch touchscreen that gives you satellite navigation and all the conventional infotainment functions along with the latest flat-bottom steering wheel gives its interior something new. However, the most noticeable feature of the 2015 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrfoglio Verde is its sports seats. These seats are trimmed in leather with a bit of detailing with the green stitching. The best thing about them is, they are so comfortable that they will make you feel as if they have wrapped themselves around you.
All of that is pretty standard and nothing extraordinary but the real thing lies under the hood of 2015 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrfoglio Verde.
The 2015 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrfoglio Verde and Alfa 4C supercar both share the same 1.75-liter turbo-four, direct injection; making Giulietta extremely fast. The aluminum body of the Alfa also contributes towards speed as it makes the vehicle lighter by saving 20 Kilograms of weight. The amount of power that engine produces is 177 and the torque 340Nm in the Dynamic mode.
According to the company, the vehicle can go from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in the matter of 6 seconds using the launch control function, which is pretty easy to operate.
4C and Giulietta share another feature, which is the six-speed twin-clutch gearbox. Also it comes with paddle shifters mounted in the steering wheel like Ferrari 458 Italia.
Although the shifting unit is pretty remarkable and smooth, there is a still lot of room for improvement. The snappier shifts, at least in the dynamic mode, would have made a lot of difference in enhancing the driving experience.
There is also a debate over the size of the 2015 Alfa Romeo Giulietta QV’s steering wheel. Many believe that its size is a lot bigger than what they would have liked and it takes a lot of time getting used to. The vehicle could have had the same sport steering wheel as the 4C to make it a bit more convenient for the driver. Having said that, the steering has an even weight to it and is pretty quick, making it easy for the driver to deal with the curvy Italian roads. It is also pretty stable with no kickbacks what so ever.
The new 2015 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrfoglio Verde is expected to be available in the local market anytime during the month of February this year. As far as the pricing and specifications of vehicle is concerned, it will most likely be out before the launch of the vehicle.
