2015 Audi A3 Sedan
Demand for the Audi A3 Sedan in the US was so overwhelming that Audi simply couldn’t produce enough cars to satisfy the hunger of the costumers. Nicely shaped, rightly dimensioned and beautifully priced, the Audi A3 Sedan is one of the most sought after compact vehicles in the US. Yes, there is that futuristic Mercedes CLA too, but the Audi A3 Sedan is somehow more practical.
The 2015 Audi A3 Sedan is a rather impressive car. It has been built on the new Volkswagen MQB platform, which means it brought some technology from the more potent and higher expensive cars. After researching some time about this vehicle, we found out that the 2015 Audi A3 Sedan received top notch quality of the interior and exceptional exterior aerodynamic efficiency which took it a long way from the cheap small compact cars that have never really been the thing in the US. The dimensions for this car are almost identical to the dimensions of the Audi A4 which was produced from 1995 to 2002. The wheelbase is a bit bigger however, and the roomy inside is better in comparison with its biggest counterpart from Mercedes.
Audi did not want to experiment very much. Apart from the chassis that is built partly out of aluminum and high strength steel, the Audi A3 received basically all the bells and whistles available for some other cheaper Volkswagen compacts. Also, it is directly based on the Audi A3 Hatchback, which means its interior is garnished with some nice soft touch surfaces, nice powered leather seats, wonderful Audi infotainment system and, when you pay enough: with the newest 4G LTE Connectivity and the nVidia graphic card which is used for the impressive navigation software.
As for the drive, the 2015 Audi A3 Sedan can be equipped with the Quattro all-wheel drive or a front wheel drive system. DSG dual clutch transmission is part of the A3 Sedan and we encourage you to try it with the two liter turbocharged engine and a Quattro all-wheel drive. With 220 HP and 24 mpg in the city, the Audi A3 Sedan 2.0 T Quattro is possibly the most complete sedan there is. It goes fast, really fast. It needs only 5,9 seconds to 60 mph, and it is actually more fuel efficient than the 1.8 liter turbocharged engine which churns out 170 HP. Smaller engine can provide 23 mpg in the city, but it can’t provide the driving experience or the performance associated with the higher powered car.
Apart from the top quality, best engines from the Volkswagen group and high end Internet Connection features, the 2015 Audi A3 Sedan is easily the best compact car from the Volkswagen. Young US buyers like it, it is a top performing car with the Quattro all-wheel drive and it is the first Audi vehicle with the entry price of less than $30 grand. Interestingly, even the lower grade models are nicely equipped and they carry real Audi premium feel and premium quality.
