Moving ahead, next on the lineup is the 500 turbo, which contains base model engine’s turbocharged version which can produce up to 135 HP. It comes with both the automatic and manual transmission; it returns 28 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway with the manual transmission and with the automatic transmission it returns 24 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway.
Last but not the least; the Abarth 500 comes with the same engine’s even more powerful version which can produce up to 160 HP. This particular version returns 28 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway with the manual transmission. As far as the automatic transmission is concerned, it returns 24 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway.
Heading over to the safety aspect of the vehicle, the FIAT 500 offers 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, stability control and a total of 7 airbags. The vehicle received 4 out of 5 in the crash-testing ratings by the government.
