2015 Opel Adam Rocks – The Ultimate off-roader
The Adam stepped inside the world of automobiles two years back. Its introduction to the market meant that Opel had joined the club of high-end city cars. The latest Adam came with an unending list of equipment; so many, that it was almost impossible to find a vehicle with the same amount of specs. Despite all these qualities, the Adam still could not get ahead of its rival Fiat 500. The Opel took these issues in to consideration and came with a model of Adam that had an added advantage of off-roading. The Opel showcased the all-new 2015 Opel Adam Rocks in the Geneva Auto Show this year. The company expects this vehicle to do well in the market.
The all-new 2015 Opel Adam Rocks looks very similar to the car presented as concept in the Geneva Auto Show last year, which carried the same name too. After all the effort that the manufacturers put in, the latest Opel Adam Rocks finally gets ahead of its rival Fiat 500, all because of the added off-roading feature. The prominent features that make Adam Rocks an ideal vehicle for off-roading is its 15mm expanded clearance, an altered suspension and all-new exhaust system. There are some changes made to the exterior as well, with the option of alloy-wheels from 17 to 18 inches, a soft roof and bumpers that look a lot meaner and aggressive. Inside the cabin, the buyers will have the option of choosing between two colors to have a great time with the innovative technology that the vehicle offers.
One of the top specs of the latest Adam Rocks is without any doubt its three-cylinder 1.0 liter turbo engine. This is the very first time that the Opel Rocks will contain this engine. This particular engine is also expected to be out in the market in the near future, within 3 years to be exact. Popping the hood, there are two kinds of engines offered with the 2015 Opel Adam Rocks, one that can produce about 89 HP and the other can produce up to 113 HP. The torque produced by both the models is 121 lb-ft. These figures take Adam Rocks 30% ahead of the latest Opel Adams’s engine, which is 1.6 liters. Also part of the offer, are a couple of atmospheric engines. A 1.2-liter engine that can produce about 69 HP and a 1.4 liter engine that can produce up to, 86 or 99HP. To make things a little more exciting, a 1.4-liter turbo engine is expected to come out soon that will produce up to 150 HP.
The 2015 Opel Adam Rocks will be available in the European markets no later than December this year with a price tag of £14,000 or $19,000. According to some rumors, the Adam will release under the name of Buick in the Northern America. It is expected to launch in the beginning of next year in either New York or Detroit’s Auto show.
