2015 Peugeot 207
Peugeot is indeed a clever company; one after another the company has been able to meet the expectations of its customers through classic vehicles. The 2015 Peugeot 207 is not a different story. It is one of the highly awaited cars of 2015 and is expected to take the legacy of Peugeot forward. Peugeot 207 will be available in diesel as well as petrol powered engines. The vehicle has a modern, sleek look and much more alterations which the previous models did not have.
The 207 would be available in four different trim levels coupled with six types of engines to choose from. The diesel engine is pretty impressive but a little expensive. If you’re looking for more power and have a few thousand dollars extra then diesel engine may be just the right choice for you. 1.4-litre power plant (petrol) comes as standard and can produce up to 94 hp and 102 lb-ft of torque. 2015 Peugeot 207 is bigger and heavier than all previous models – 330 lbs to be exact. This extra weight gives 207 a bulkier but stylish look. With standard 1.4 liter engine it is almost impossible to compare 207 with 206 when it comes to speed and CO2 emission but if you are willing to go for higher trim level – you’re up for a quality ride.
The interior is a complete transformation from the previous models. Peugeot has used a lot of chrome in interior designing this time, which gives a trendy but neat look to it. There were many complaints about the position of the driving seat in 206 and this time, the company has made sure that this gets resolved. The pedals, gear, and everything in front of the driver is perfectly assembled for a great driving experience. The center console, however, looks a bit dated with pretty ordinary buttons.
2015 Peugeot 207 is built to adjust 4 passengers, but you would not want to be sitting at the back seats, especially on longer routes. The leg room, however, is pretty spacious in front. The vehicle lacks storage space, but that is understandable considering the shape and size of the car. The car has a five-star Euro NCAP rating, which is pretty commendable in the small car category. It has plenty of airbags and the noise level is pretty low.
Moving on to the performance and mileage, 2015 Peugeot is somewhere there on the average line. It can go from 0 to 60 mph in 12.9 seconds with a top speed of 107 mph. According to early testers, the break paddle doesn’t have a great feel but all in all, it is much better than the previous versions. Talking about mileage, the Peugeot 207 is nothing short of exceptional. It gives 36.2 mpg on busy streets and over 40 mpg easily on highways. The CO2 is emission is something that the company might have to seriously think about as the 2015 Peugeot emits 110gm/km of CO2 is in the atmosphere.
