Tundra received some serious attention last year as the vehicle went through some major changes. Toyota Tundra was introduced in 2007 and since than the truck has not had many changes in the design. The 2015 TOYOTA Tundra comes with standard engine of 4.6-liter V8 that can produce 310 horsepower and the torque of 327 pounds per feet. The V8 5.7- liter produces an enormous 381 HP with the torque of 401 pounds per feet. Both the versions function with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The 2015 TOYOTA Tundra is a rear-wheel drive by default. There is an option available for those willing to go for all-wheel drive, but that is only available on models loaded with V8 engines. Moving on to the fuel economy, the 4.6- liter V8 of the 2015 TOYOTA Tundra give 16 mpg in the city and on the highway it gives back 20 mpg. The 4.6-liter V8 with all-wheel drive gives back 14 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway.
The 5.7- liter V8 of the vehicle gives back 14 mpg in the city and 18 mpg on the highway. When driving the 5.7-liter V8 with all-wheel drive, it gives back 13 mpg in the city and 17 mpg on the highway.
The 2015 TOYOTA Tundra comes with various trim levels including, basic SR for $29,400 and SR5 for $31,500 the midlevel for $38,500, the TRD pro which is made specifically for off-road, is available for $42,200. Besides that, the Platinum version is available for $45,800.
As far as the safety is concerned the 2015 TOYOTA Tundra comes with eight airbags with knee airbags for front seat passengers and stability control. Besides that, there is an option available for blind spot monitoring system. The vehicle masters pretty much every aspect and is worth every penny of it.
