The 2015 Infiniti QX70 Is A Sporty SUV – It Cannot Tow A Lot But It Can Drive Fast
This is a luxurious SUV no question there. Looking at it from the outside it is not even small, but you realize that it lacks the roominess associated with the SUVs of its size the moment you open the rear door. Yes, the space there is miniscule and we chose to talk about it at the very start because there are two more serious drawbacks that crossover owners are really fond of. First of all, it has a small boot and it can tow only 2000 lbs which is not enough for the gizmos you could have if you can actually afford the 2015 Infiniti QX70.
So, right at the start let us tell you that this thing isn’t as you’d like it to be right after B pillar. However, in front of the B pillar is probably all that you’ve ever wanted. Despite ditching the large five liter V8 altogether from the offer (which is the only “novelty” for the 2015 Infiniti QX70), the remaining V6 3.7 liter naturally aspirated engine with 325 HP is more than a match for the weight and the size of this crossover. Some reported that the acceleration times for the QX70 are in the range of 6.2 seconds to 60 mph which is frankly awesome and much better compared with the closest counterparts.
Coupled with the 3.7 liter engine we are familiar with from the Nissan 370Z is the seven speed automatic transmission. It is the only option for the car, but it comes with paddles behind the wheel so it offers some sort of manual gear change capability which you might like. This is one more reason to look at this car as not just your regular crossover. It has some serious connections with the sporty Nissan cars and one of the most notable links is the rather stiff suspension every single motoring journalist reported about. So, if you are in need of a true sporty SUV which won’t be able to haul a lot, but it will be more than capable to provide serious acceleration then the 2015 Infiniti QX70 might be the right pick. It is not the Porsche Cayenne Turbo or the BMW X5M, but it can put some good show on the road. What’s more, it is fairly luxurious.
Even in its standard guise you get for the least amount of money, the QX70 comes with 18 inch wheels, sunroof, keyless entry, start button, leather, Bluetooth connectivity, touch sensitive color display, advanced climate control and even Bose surround system. Well, there aren’t a lot of cars out there that can offer as much right from the start. Just imagine what kind of a machine this thing can become if you opt for upper trim levels (four of which exist: Premium, Deluxe Touring, Technology Package and Sport Package). If you are really desperate to get your spleen torn apart than the Sport package will do. It comes with slick 21 inch wheels and even with a slightly advanced suspension (which is additionally stiffer we guess).v
