The 2015 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Is One Of The All Time Greats
Following the rich heritage of Lamborghini V12 vehicles, the Italian maker of exclusive supercars revealed their maddest and bravest supercar yet. It’s a Lamborghini Aventador and while it remained basically the same since it revelation in 2011, the car is certainly still kicking hard and proud on the market. Receiving a wealth of modern technologies from Audi and being exceptionally well engineered, the 2015 Lamborghini Aventador remains at the top of the food chain even today, after many super-car makers revealed the counterparts for it.
The whole line of Lamborghini V12 monsters is centralized and built upon the V12 engine that this famous manufacturer uses for its top of the line cars. Lamborghini Built, but Audi approved V12 6.5 liter engine is one of the all-time industry greats. The naturally aspirated engine, first newly built Lamborghini V12 engine since the Sixties is the backbone of the car.
Using a multitude of weight saving technologies, the Lamborghini and Audi engineers succeeded to keep the weight of the engine under 520 lbs, which is, for an enormous V12, a rather impressive achievement. Despite its 12 cylinders and massive 6.5 liter capacity, the engine is able to rev up to 8.500 rpm and it peeks the power just under there at 8.250 rpm. With 700 HP on tap, the car weighing just under 3.500 lbs can accelerate to 60 in less than 3 seconds and officially it can hit the speed of 217 mph.
The excellence behind it can’t be demonstrated only by the sheer numbers. Lamborghini designers and engineers did a mind blowing job in creating a car that can compete with the best in the world, but they are not the only ones responsible. Four wheel drive system supplied by the Swedish Haldex is one of the most important element which enables the car to fully utilize its maximum power and transfer it all to the ground with perfectly adjusted Launch Control System. Apart from them, when developing the car Lamborghini partnered with the Graziano Tranmissioni (an Italian company, who would guess?), who developed a single plate clutch and transmission which can make a gear change on 50 milliseconds.
The 2015 Lamborghini Aventador is thus packed with modern and cutting edge technologies making it as perfect as possible. As you might imagine, such an expensive car teams with luxury standard equipment; the 2015 Lamborghini Aventador is equipped with systems like keyless ignition, TFT display behind the wheel, exceptionally well designed and thoughtful board computer, advanced entertainment system with seven inch display and Bluetooth, USB, iPod connectivity, satellite navigation, LED daily running lights, automatic air con and other.
In order to make it as fuel efficient as possible (because of regulation not because of clients), Lamborghini equipped the car with special aerodynamic package, cylinder deactivation system, Start/Stop technology and some other measures which are supposed to bring down fuel consumption as much as possible.
Fuel consumption is not a concern to the owners of this magnificent vehicle, but the performance is. As it turns out, Lamborghini was rather conservative previously about the performance of the Aventador. As tested by some independent journalists, Aventador can hit 230 mph, which is much more than 217 mph reported by Lambo. All in all, this is an amazing vehicle whose price will only go up in the following years.
